Art festival Wondergronds
In the summer of 2024 I participated with great pleasure in Wondergronds, it was an Art Festival in Norg (Drenthe). And different than usual! From June 21 to July 12, Het Kunsterf in Norg was all about the Wondergronds art festival. A unique festival where 16 artists from the North were inspired by the mycelium.
The exhibition, both inside and outside, shows a palette of visual artists: such as painters, ceramists, a glass artist, photographers, a poet. With their work they build a bridge between the world of art and that of the fungus kingdom. They want to make it clear that what lives under our feet must be protected and that can only be done through awareness.
My contribution to this festival consisted of a group of sculptures in the outdoor area and a number of works indoors.
